It was the final battle. Fairy Tail practically was no more. E.N.D had slayed them all ruthlessly, and somehow Gray was one of the few remaining members. But no, he couldn’t die just let. No, he wouldn’t die. Gray had a promise to fulfill. Destroy E.N.D at all costs. And besides, Gray had a new beginning after the war. A life with Juvia. A shot at true happiness. And if it meant winning a single battle, you bet he would give his all.

“There’s no way you can possibly beat me.” E.N.D sneered in his cocky tone of voice. He was no longer the Natsu Dragneel he once was. He was now a cold hearted monster. Was this who Natsu was always? Just a monster…? He couldn’t think like that. That wasn’t Natsu. E.N.D was someone completely different. A beast. Natsu would want Gray to take him out. And Silver would too. Silver… Gray had to do this for Silver. And he had to do it for Juvia.

“I’m going to take you down and you better believe that.” Gray shot back.  

“You can try but haven’t you already seen what I did to your friends? You have no chance.” E.N.D smirked, his fangs sticking out.  

He was right. Lucy, Happy, Wendy… They were all gone alongside multiple others. And Gray had witnessed them all die, that made him even more fired up. He was going to win. Gray had to win.  

“Gray-sama!” It was her.  

“J-Juvia!? What the hell are you doing here?” Gray asked in shock. He specifically told her to stay back with Erza in safety. Erza was barely alive but she was still here. Somehow, Juvia managed to escape with only a few cuts and bruises. Nothing too major.

“Juvia knows, she wanted to help.” Juvia smiled slightly before tossing off her corset. She had adopted his own stripping habit over the six months they lived together, much to his disliking.
